Levac Health & Safety can provide both Qualitative (Bitrex Solution) and Quantitative (Porta Count) Fit Testing for employees that work in areas where a protective breathing apparatus is required.

The Qualitative testing method relies on the subjectivity of the users taste and smell to detect leakage to a particular test agent.

The Quantitative (Porta Count) Testing method utilizes a measuring instrument called a Porta Count machine to measure face-seal leakage.

For all Fit Tests the individual MUST be clean shaven, or the fit test cannot be performed.
